These are the maps and coordinates for Saturday’s and Sunday’s days of racing.
NOTE: The buoys at the half-way points will be approximately 400m from backline. Any paddler who does not pass on the land side of these buoys will be disqualified. You will be monitored by SafetTRX and there will be a camera on the boat recording who passes.
SATURDAY: DUC to Amanzintoti
The first turn buoy will be approximately 1.5km from the beach. A lead boat will show you the way.
There are 3 bail out points along the way, where there will be craft at backline to assist.
The finish at Amanzimtoti will be under a finish arch. Paddlers will need to be in contact with their ski and holding their paddle when they cross the line.
Please evacuate your ski from the beach as soon as possible and load it onto one of the trailers (if you require a lift).
Busses will leave to return to DUC as soon as they are full.
There will be a bag drop outside the void in the morning.
SUNDAY: DUC to Westbrook
